Crab apple jelly!
The storm today kept us inside after mid-morning, so we experimented with making jelly from the prolific crabapple trees on the property. The house smelled delicious and the jelly is the perfect combination of tart and sweet. Definitely an activity to do with guests next fall!

Renovation begins!
It feels so good to have the construction beginning. Although unnerving to see the steps to the back door disappear (NOTE TO SELF: REMEMBER NOT TO OPEN THAT DOOR!!!), Matt did a great job beginning the site work
