Refreshed, Centered and Peaceful. These 3 words only scratch the surface of how you’ll feel after spending a long weekend with trees and plants. Drawing on the wisdom of forest bathing while exploring our relationship with plants inside and out, our time together will be a type of eco-therapy. We will spend time in nature and consciously connecting with what’s around us.
When you hear forest or wilderness, what floats up for you? Is it trees, and leaves and pinecones or do you think about the animals, bugs and critters that live there too. Have you plunged your hands in the dirt and felt grounded in the world or gazed upon a flower and allowed yourself to sink into the natural beauty and awe? Do you feel comfort and calm or do you have worry and anticipation? Learn to share your worry with a stone and leave it at the beach and see if your heart is lighter. Ask the moving water for clarity with a specific question, and be open to the answer at the bottom!
Experience nature in your life through a different lens. What may seem to be spent flowers, dead leaves, branches or rotting stumps are all an integral part of the living breathing multiverse of companionship, support, and connection. How are the “dead” things in your life an integral part of you? How can you plant the seeds of change in your life?
The retreat begins Friday March 15th and concludes on Monday March 18th after lunch. Guests may extend their stay one or two additional nights to enjoy the quiet healing of Limina. Our time together will include plenty of time to rest, meditate, share rituals and stories alike, and eat wholesome meals.
