I’m a lifelong seeker and lover of all things spiritual (and religious!) Having been raised Catholic, in my early 20’s I moved away from formal religion as I yearned for direct experiences of the divine. Animals, friends, and nature helped me to feel unconditional love and peace, and I learned to meditate with a Zen group. Through quiet contemplation, I re-connected with my Christian roots and ultimately was ordained in the Episcopal Church. In additional to spending over 15 years working in parishes, I’ve taught at the graduate level and worked with a hospice and palliative care center.
My deep passion for working with people during liminal times in their lives began more than 30 years ago while companioning people at the end of their lives.
