This week, we were thrilled to share Limina with the community by hosting a series of parties. First, we had a cookout to thank all of the “angels” who worked so hard to get Limina ready to open this summer. We had a fabulous team of carpenters, sheet-rockers, painters, plumbers, roofers, electricians, HVAC installers, landscapers, cabinet makers and more! Second, the Belfast Chamber of Commerce won our auction item – “Cocktail Party for 25” – at the annual rotary fund-raiser at Harborfest. We enjoyed meeting board members and volunteers and hearing more about the awesome work of the chamber. Finally, we opened the house to many business owners and new friends whose goods and services grace Limina. There are so many gifted people in the community, and it was fun to show them where their furniture, art, pottery, rugs, etc ended up in the house. None of these events would have been possible, let alone extremely delicious, without the vision of our chef Angela, and amazing helpers Tori, Dustin, and Jacqueline.
